It takes continuous "voices" of the people to stop the country from running out of control, not the air fighters nor the battleship. Don't give up, don't stop. If it's getting hard, let's help each other to stop the country from running out of control. Neil showed it to us, this simple and most important action. He made us remember that voices have "more power" than the guns or the ammunitions. I was deeply moved by his message. I support him. Goro@Heaven, 49, Osaka |

"I was waiting for someone to come along, some young singer from eighteen-to-twenty-two years old, to write these songs and stand up. I waited a long time. Then I decided that maybe the generation that has to do this is still the '60s generation. We're still here." With this declaration, Neil created it with the "Anti-War" theme in only 2 weeks. It symbolizes his existence as an active musician. It is "Living With War"!!! His declaration spears my heart!! We can actually listen to the whole album at his "Living With War" website. I lost my word!! I've never heard any songs that are more directly expressing anti-war and anti-Bush!! The very first note is already bursting!! What is that!! Terrific!! I'm too overwhelmed to come up with clever words!! How many years since Neil has striked out with such an extreme emotion? How old is he? Unbelievable power!! What is that!! My emotion is bursting right now, because I'm actually listening to it at this minute!! Incredible!! This makes me cry!! He is serious!! I can't believe he is hitting with this much of direct and honest emotion... What courage!! I can trust this sound!! His raw sound and emotion pierce me!! I feel like this is the moment I become a part of Neil Young. Life is amazing since an old guy like him still exists!! Music is amazing since a sound like this still exists!! There is no night like this. Is it the time I must stand? Who says so? Who is telling me to follow you? Thank you, Neil! This morning, I can go on!! Pat |

Dear Neil, The man in USA sends so many Eagles to the WAR, who truly want to live with PEACE. In a Japanese custom, people fold a small paper into the shape of Crane (it is called "ORIGAMI") and make a thousand of it with and for PEACE. We wish you and your friends of "LIVING WITH WAR" would make a thousand Cranes for the Peace of Eagles and all of the world. Shigeru Ozawa |

War, whatever it is, I've been wanting to avoid it. "Love your neighbors!" "Never kill anyone!" They are the part of Moses' Ten Commandments. Catholics, Christians, Puritans, Protestants, All the Christian in the broad sense continues to repeat wars all over the world. Muslims who share the same holy ground repeat wars continuously. From that standpoint, I'm glad that I am Japanese and don't share that religion. But, in the meantime, North Korea has fired missiles. Still want to fight? Is it really necessary to have weapons to keep our public peace? I don't think so. Oh, in North Korea, "Living With War" mustn't be playing. chiaokuni |

I've been a fan of Neil Young since when I was in 7th grade. I pay my respect to him for his expression of direct anger. Now, war broke out in Lebanon. The situation which Iraqi people are victimized everyday is not somebody else's business. I feel strongly that I need to do something about it. For peace in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, I will take my individual action. Suruko Yusaku, Matsudo, Chiba |
