It has been a month since the streaming has started, and it is still going. The CD has been available for a long time now. Today is Memorial Day in America. It first began to honor Union soldiers who died during the American Civil War. It is now this holiday commemorates all U.S. men and women who have died in military service to their country.

When I clicked to Neil Young's official site, the screen showed something different. It was a video clip similar to the news program CNN showing the big American flag trailing with the veterans' cemetery in the background. There is writing that says "MEMORIAL DAY - 2006, REMEMBERING OUR FALLEN BROTHERS AND SISTERS". The song "America, The Beautiful" which is the last song of "Living With War" is playing, and the lyric to this song is shown along with the song.

At the very bottom, the number of the American death totals by month in the Iraq war started to appear, and kept going. I was shocked, since I've never seen the clear numbers of death in the news. On TV, they don't show pictures of caskets which soldiers come home in. Our government doesn't want people to see them and think, it is sad, war is terrible, let's stop the war.

I was so surprised and wrote into my digital diary to let my buddies in Japan know. "Look, it is shocking!"

Soon, buddies started to comment. "Really, it is sad" "I cried, too" "Is it true that this much people died?" "But I think more Iraqi people died" "In spite of that, the American flag is so beautiful. America is in fact a beautiful country"

In America many saw this video, and cried, got mad, and felt vexed. In Japan we watched it, too. The video disappeared the next day.
