5.25.06 Musician, music fan, record store owner, music studio owner, restaurant owner, artist, craft artist, writer, cartoonist, translator, graphic designer, computer programmer, cook, office worker, student, mother, father... many people commented on my digital diary, and made a link to the site. Neil's songs were on private paper called "Neil Young News" in Musashi Koyama. Neil's songs were introduced in Matsuyama. People were discussing Neil's songs in the bar in Nagoya. From Hokkaido (northernmost) to Kyushu (southernmost) and many cities in between, emails were received. Even from Japanese living in America and Australia. Neil's songs were introduced at a class called "Anti-War Songs" at one of the prestigious university in Osaka. The video clip of Neil singing 'Imagine' at the 9.11 charity concert was also shown in the class. 'Imagine' is the world's most famous peace song written by John Lennon. A Radio station, FM Cocolo in Osaka, played Neil's songs on the program. Japanese translation was recited over it. FM Cocolo was the first multi-language program station in Japan, established to broadcast emergency news and help foreigners after Hanshin quake hit Osaka area in 1995. Hope for peace joined. |
